Lighthouse Leadership Academy
Lighthouse is a powerful home that brings hope and transformation to millions of people across the nation. It’s a place where people can come together and tear down walls of darkness, where leaders of leaders are created to embrace their light in a dark world. In this home, people are encouraged to break down, break through, and given permission in a safe environment to be vulnerable in a powerful manner. Through this process people are encouraged to embrace their power of God’s light and love that resides inside all of us.
Puerto Rico Mission Trip 2023
On September 20, 2017,
Hurricane Maria made landfall on Puerto Rico as a high-end Category 4 storm, bringing a large storm surge, very heavy rains, and wind gusts well above 100 mph (160 km/h). It flattened neighborhoods, crippled the island’s power grid, and caused an estimated 2,982 fatalities and US$90 billion in damage.

Island Earthquake
Starting on December 28, 2019,
the southwestern part of the island of Puerto Rico was struck by an earthquake swarm, including 11 that were of magnitude 5 or greater. The largest and most damaging of this sequence was a magnitude 6.4, which occurred on January 7, 2020.
Hurricane Fiona
On September 19 of 2022,
almost to the day that Hurricane Maria hit in 2017, Hurricane Fiona struck Puerto Rico’s southwest coast as it unleashed landslides, knocked the power grid out and ripped up asphalt from roads
The People of Puerto Rico
The People of Puerto Rico never seem to get a break and they are continuously being challenged with hardship and adversity.
However, one thing is certain…….they are resilient and always come together as a community to support each other.
As Lighthouse Leadership Academy, we get to come together to support them in their rebuilding and recovery efforts

21 Room Mini Resort
- The entire resort has been secured exclusively for Lighthouse
- On the low side, cost per person can range from $300 – $600 and high side $600 – $1100 depending on the room and it’s occupancy. *Cost is for 6 nights
- Optional $50 additional per person per day for 3 meals per day
